Trinity Term
Trinity Term has changed me, reoriented me, and I do not think I am alone. The Christian life is a perpetual orientation towards the other, to become neighbor to the stranger, by entering into the far country of another heart. This is simply to love. – Dr. David Franks, Co-Director of the Trinity Institute
Who is our neighbor?
Trinity Term is an interim week in February that aims to explore the question of “who is our neighbor” in a global context.
Students and faculty alike attend the four day, in-school conference which includes workshops and seminars led by scholars, experts, and professionals well informed on topics concerning the geographical area of focus.
Students also work on hands-on projects which they present and exhibit at the conclusion of Trinity term. In past years, neighbors have included Sub-Saharan Africa, the Silk Route, South Asia, Latin America, East Asia, and the Caribbean.
