International Applicants

Tuition and Fees for the current school year are listed below:

The New Student and Activity Fees cover uniforms, books, orientations, as well as Trinity Globe outings and field trip costs. 

Financial aid is not available for international students.

The preferred test of English proficiency is the TOEFL or TOEFL Jnr. (Middle School applicants only) though we also accept the IESTL.

Boston Trinity will now accept the Duolingo English Test.

This is a convenient and affordable English proficiency test that applicants can take online, on-demand, anywhere in the world.

All international students are required to have an F-1 Visa.

Boston Trinity Academy provides I-20 forms for international students who have been admitted and enrolled at Boston Trinity.

International admission is considered on a rolling basis, meaning that preference is given to students who apply early, but applications will be considered as long as space is available.

1.Submit the Online Application

Boston Trinity Academy uses a paperless, online application system called Ravenna. Applicants and their families can complete their applications, submit essays, and collect teacher references online, from any computer.

You can visit Ravenna to create an account and begin your application. Of course, if you have any questions, we are here to help you each step of the way.

2.Pay the Application Fee

An application fee of $250 is required in order for your application to be considered. This may be paid through Ravenna, our online application system. Boston Trinity Academy also uses the Standard Application Online (SAO).

3.Submit Recommendation Forms

Boston Trinity Academy requires three recommendations, one from the student’s current Math teacher, one from the student’s current English teacher, and one from an administrator who knows the student well.

The recommendations are confidential documents. The recommendations can be sent electronically through Ravenna or through the SAO application. Please reach out to admission@bostontrinity.org with any questions.

4.Submit a Transcript

An up-to-date transcript from the student’s current school must be submitted as part of the application.

The transcript release form should be signed by a parent and given to an administrator or registrar at the current school well in advance of the application deadline. Transcripts should cover at least the last three years of school. Electronic copies of official transcripts may be sent to: admission@bostontrinity.org.

5.Submit English Test Scores

The education at Boston Trinity Academy requires a thorough command of the English language in order to succeed. To demonstrate command of the English language, all international applicants are required to take a standardized English test and submit their score report as part of their application.

For students applying to the Upper School (grades 9-11), either a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score report must be submitted.

For students applying to the Middle School (grades 6-8), either a TOEFL Junior, iTEP SLATE, or Duolingo score report must be submitted.

It is highly recommended that students register for a test as soon as possible to ensure that the test results are available in good time.

6.Complete an Interview

It is important for us to get to know all our applicants as well as possible and the interview plays an important role in this. The interview also helps us understand the level of English of our applicants. Interviews for international students may be conducted at Boston Trinity Academy’s campus or via Zoom.
