Social Innovators Program Information Session
https://www.schoolyardventures.com/bta Dear Families,We’re excited to announce that applications for the Social Innovators Program are now open for Grade 10 and 11 students at Boston Trinity Academy. The Social Innovators Program is a partnership between Schoolyard Ventures, an organization that develops university-level, real-world learning opportunities for ambitious high school students, and UPenn’s Center for Social Impact Strategy. This 12-week virtual program enables students to dive into entrepreneurship and experience it firsthand while earning a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. Boston Trinity is one of just fifty schools worldwide invited to participate in this unique initiative.Throughout the program, students learn how to launch ventures of their own that create value and a positive impact in their communities. They work in small online cohorts and engage in weekly real-world challenges to experience the innovation process, while receiving personalized one-on-one guidance and mentorship from experienced social entrepreneurs along the way. Because students choose their own projects, each student’s experience in the program is unique and shaped by their own interests and ideas.
