The summer trip to Nepal is a service-learning trip that brings selected BTA students to Nepal each summer to work on community development projects in partnership with HOPE House, a local Nepali non-governmental organization (NGO).

Students teach math, science, and English in local schools while working closely with orphans in HOPE House. In addition to providing helpful services in Kathmandu, students also organize a soccer tournament in farming villages to engage with local youth. Students learn to serve and develop cultural competency during this 3-week trip.
