Performing arts programming is growing at Boston Trinity. More than half our students perform in Middle School and Upper School choirs, the Chapel band, Jazz Band, Drama Club and dramatic productions.
The middle school has produced A Midsummer’s Night Dream, Tom Sawyer, and Who Killed Aunt Caroline. Upper school drama students have staged You Can’t Take it With You, Our Town, The Admirable Chrichton, and Arms and the Man. For each play, students and faculty, and sometimes even parents create sets and costumes that rival professional theatre productions. Whether speaking Elizabethan English or dancing in step, students learn to memorize their parts and to transform them into a cohesive production. Every performance helps to draw the community together further as the students learn to play to their audience.
