The Repertory Singers consists of twelve singers from both the middle and upper schools. Throughout the year, singers work to develop both their individual voices and a well-balanced choral sound, practicing and performing a challenging and varied repertoire. Special attention is given to breathing techniques and the development of harmony. Students take an active role in selecting music.

BTA Chorale provides a setting for any upper school student to explore his or her singing voice within the context of choral singing. Throughout the year, Chorale members are instructed in vocal technique, both chorally and individually. The Chorale learns and practices three-part harmony, and is introduced yearly to four and sometimes five-part harmony. The Chorale sings a varied repertoire, including traditional spirituals, classical lyric songs, and contemporary pop and gospel music.
