Academics

At Boston Trinity Academy we seek to instill in our students an intellectual curiosity that is undergirded by moral vision in order that they might lead flourishing lives marked by knowledge and wisdom.

Our academic program utilizes a content-rich curriculum taught through a combination of traditional and innovative pedagogy. Students solve complex mathematical problems, write in-depth research papers, and memorize poetry and prose in an environment that encourages our graduates to carry the love of learning into higher education and beyond. Whether through gender-divided classes or inter-disciplinary courses, we strive to provide the best learning environment for our students.

Academic achievement is predicated upon the single most essential resource a great school has, the quality and dedication of its teachers. Boston Trinity Academy’s distinctive faculty have followed their own academic passions with the vast majority earning advanced degrees. Our mission-driven faculty double as coaches, advisors, set designers, choir directors and trip leaders. But even more essential is our belief that every student be known, loved, respected and challenged. This is supported by our commitment to a 10 to 1 student-teacher ratio and an average class size of 15.

During classroom time, co-curricular activities, and advisory meetings, teachers interact closely with students building a vibrant school community marked by generosity, humor, creativity, resilience, and joy.
